Class Band:
Time to make the final push to the end of the school year!

 

This month we will have our final concert performances. Our Spring Concerts and Awards Nights are scheduled for May 7 and May 10, both starting at 6:30p in the VHS Auditorium. Call time for both concerts is 6pm, and students must check in prior to that time as we have done for all concerts at VHS this year! Please encourage other family, friends, or future VHS band members to attend these concerts! Digital Program here

 

Regarding assignments, please encourage students to take time to ensure that they are finishing assignments, or work with one of the Directors to schedule tutoring time as needed. Please remember that students must meet the minimum grade and attendance requirements to be considered for Final Exam exemption status.

 

Marching Band:

Thank you to all who participated in our Spring Training last month! It was awesome to “get the band back together”, including bringing in a number of our new Rookie members!

 

Please refer to previously sent out information regarding Band Camp, which will be held from July 8-12 and July 15-19 this summer!

 

Band Booster Meetings:

Our next Band Booster meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 16 at 6pm in the Band Room. All are welcome, so please make plans to come out!

 

Tidal Wave Car Wash Ticket Fundraiser:
Thanks to all who participated in helping us raise funds for the band through our TIdal Wave Ticket Fundraiser! If there are any outstanding order forms, please turn those in to Mr. Mullis ASAP!

5/7 - Spring Concert 1 (CB and SB), 6:30pm, VHS Auditorium

5/10 - Spring Concert 2 (WS and WE), 6:30pm, VHS Auditorium

5/11 - 3rd Period WE Trip to Six Flags (info previously sent to those specific students)

5/16 - Band Booster Meeting, 6pm

5/22 - Last Day of School!
